About Jim

Jim grew up in New Hampshire and met his wife Margaret at UNH during graduate school. In their 30 years of marriage, they have raised and home-schooled 6 children.

Prior to serving as a state rep JIm frequently participated in public hearings and study committees in Concord, becoming intimately familiar with the issues and concerned for the future of the state he grew up in.

For the past 25 years Jim has worked as a research scientist and engineering manager.

He enjoys playing music, mountain climbing, and spending time with his family. They can often be found working on the backyard ski hill, or volunteering with their church and community.
